IX Australia engineers will be migrating 100G ports at NEXTDC M1 to a new 400G-capable switch. Additionally, some 10G ports will need to be moved to an alternate switch for hardware consolidation purposes.

Ports will be drained of peering traffic using BCP214-compliant filters before they are migrated. Filters will be removed once the ports are back online and stable.
The work is expected to take about 15 minutes per port. However, 4 hours has been booked in the unlikely event of an emergency.
