IAA Engineers will be migrating services within Equinix SY3 (syd3) to prepare for removing legacy hardware and panels in window 2. This migration will cause an outage on most peers connected to pe1.syd3 as well as some peers on pe2.syd3 and pe3.syd3.
Date: 14/05/2024 Start time: 06:00am (AEST) Downtime to expect: Up to ~15 minutes Window: 2 hours
* Members with service ports connected at Equinix SY3 should expect their port to go down during this window, affecting all services associated with the port: Peering, VLL, Extended Reach Peering.
Ports will be drained of peering traffic using BCP214 compliant filters before they are migrated. Filters will be removed once the ports are back online and stable.
If you are unsure where your port lands, please login to portal.internet.asn.au to confirm if your port is within this facility.
The work is expected to take about 1 hour. However, 2 hours have been booked in the unlikely event of an emergency.
