IAA Engineers will be conducting a firmware upgrades on an Extreme switch in SA-IX. Individual notices will be sent separately to affected members.

Start: 10/Dec/2025 00:00 (AEDT)
End: 10/Dec/2025 01:00 (AEDT)
Window: 1 hours
Expected downtime: ~15 minutes

Ports will be drained of peering traffic using BCP214 compliant filters before they are migrated. Filters will be removed once the ports are back online and stable.

The work is expected to take about 15 minutes. However, 1 hour has been booked in the unlikely event of an emergency.
