IAA engineers will be moving the AS10084 content network out of our existing rack at NextDC B1 to a dedicated content rack at NextDC B2 for upcoming new cache deployments.
Due to the amount of physical work involved this migration has to be completed during the day.
During the window, members should expect a shift in traffic from AS10084 which serves the following caches at QLD-IX: - Netflix (OCA) - Meta (MNA) - Steam (STM) - Microsoft Connected Cache (MCC)

Start (Local): 06/May/2026 11:00 End (Local): 06/May/2026 16:00
Start (UTC): 06/May/2026 01:00 End (UTC): 06/May/2026 06:00
Window: 5 hours
---
The content router will be drained of peering traffic using BCP214-compliant filters before the maintenance commences, to ensure graceful failover of content delivery to alternate paths.
The work is expected to take about 2-3 hours. However, 5 hours has been booked in the unlikely event of an emergency.
If you have any questions or concerns regarding this notice, please contact us on 1300 793 320 or peering@internet.asn.au.
