IX Australia engineers will be migrating all QLD-IX services to a new EVPN overlay.

Only peering services are expected to be impacted, however the works may involve restarting of equipment which, if required, will impact all service types. The work is expected to take about ~2 hours. However, 6 hours has been booked in the unlikely event of an emergency.

Ports will be drained of peering traffic using BCP214-compliant filters before they are migrated. Filters will be removed once the ports are back online and stable.
